Still Got My Praise

Inspired by 1 Kings 17:14 – Elijah & the Widow at Zarephath

“For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail…”

Lyrics:
[Intro – Light bass strum, faint claps, leader speaks gently over groove]
Leader:
You ever been down to your last drop?
But the word said—Hold on… power’s coming.

[Verse 1 – Female Lead]
I didn’t have much left to give,
A handful of hope, barely could live.
But the prophet said, “Feed me first,”
And faith unlocked the overflow burst.

[Pre-Hook – Choir Soft Swell]
Every day it poured, when it shouldn’t pour,
I trusted His word—and He opened the door!

[Hook – Full Choir, Call & Response]
Hold on! (Hold on!)
Power’s coming! (It’s comin’!)
Meal won’t waste! (Won’t run out!)
Oil keeps runnin’! (Keep pourin’ out!)
If He said it—He gon’ do it!
If He spoke it—He’ll get you through it!

[Verse 2 –

Sometimes faith feels like stretchin’ thin,
But obedience lets the overflow in.
A little becomes much in the Master’s hand,
That’s how the blessing met the famine stand.

[Bridge – Horn Break + Bass Groove]
He multiplies in the drought,
He fills what’s pourin’ out.
Barrel ain’t empty, just wait and see—
Power’s comin’ for you and me!

[Vamp – Layered Choir w/ Tambourines]
Hold on! (Hold on!)
Power’s comin’! (It’s comin’!)
The meal won’t run out!
The oil won’t run dry!
We ain’t just gon’ survive—we gon’ multiply!
